How well you play the game of golf will depend on many things. Your skill, of course, comes first, and is something you can always work to improve. Weather and course conditions also play a role, but you cannot control either of those. The equipment you use is also a large part of you well or how poorly your game goes.
Picking out a golf set, which generally includes clubs and a bag and perhaps some additional accessories, is all about determining your needs and your budget. For example, you can spend $1500 on a set of really quality golf clubs. But if you don’t plan to play that often, or if you are not advanced enough for the level of equipment to matter to that degree, such a large investment is probably not worth your money.
So first set your budget (based on how seriously you take the game, and how much spending flexibility you have), and then go out shopping for a golf set. When you do get out there to buy the set of clubs, you will know the price range in which you are working, and from there you can decide what set best meets your needs based on that budget. Factors you will weigh include the number of clubs in the set, how long they are, the materials they are made from, the design quality and durability, and similar factors.
Of course, having a high end golf set to play with doesn’t guarantee success—you still need to practice—but it doesn’t hurt.
